SharePoint ShopTalk Returns Thursday 10/3!


I’m happy to report that after a few weeks off during the summer, SharePoint ShopTalk is back in action!

Will be kicking it off with a bang by having SharePoint MVP Chris Givens present “Exploring Project Server 2013”.  And of course we’ll have the usual group of panelists including John White, Laura Rogers, Jim Adcock and myself.

In Thursday’s session, Chris will showcase some of the most exciting features in Project Server 2013 that Executives and PMOs look for, how they integrate with SharePoint, what they can do and how to configure them.
If you’re looking to get into something new and exciting yet still stay relatively close to SharePoint, Project Server is a great option!

About Chris:

Chris spent five years at IBM in the Sales and Distribution organization helping work with large enterprise clients across North America to solve business problems.  After IBM moved him from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Seattle, Washington in 2000, Chris returned back to his computer science background and begun work with several venture capital funded startups in the high volume transaction processing with credit, debit and gift and loyalty system space. After several successful years of technology projects, he became a Microsoft Certified Trainer to pass on his knowledge to others.
Chris is now CEO of Architecting Connected Systems, a high quality courseware development company focused on Microsoft products such as SharePoint and Azure with customers in over 45 countries around the world.  He is also co-founder and president of the San Diego SharePoint User Group,
Chris currently resides in San Diego with his lovely, amazing wife, Lidiya, and his awesome soccer playing son Igor.
